Canyon among hills, ± urbanized Monterey pine (Pinus radiata) forest with vacant lots, roadsides, etc. More intact slopes also with Quercus agrifolia, Rhamnus californica, Heteromeles, Toxicodendron, Baccharis pilularis, Salix, Rubus ursinus, Bromus carinatus, etc.
Flowering & Fruiting
Scarce 1-1.5 m shrub beside roadside ditch at foot of NE-facing slope; fls. white when first open, later pink. 2-3 plants seen, all in full flower.
