Buckwheat, rabbitbrush, and sagebrush scrub on hills with some areas of grassland as well as pinyon and scrub oak woodland.
Flowering & Fruiting
Annual; tube dark purple, throat white-yellow, lobes violet-pink. Uncommon; loose soils on roadcut, growing with 13035B. These plants key to ssp. cyamensis, they are probably just smaller plants with smaller flowers.
