Hill top and upper slopes; bouldery granitic slopes; creosote bush scrub with Peucephyllum, Eriogonum inflatum, Encelia farinosa, etc.
Reproductive Condition:
Buds only
Notes:
Uncommon perennial on cliffs above road (cut bank); buds only. Hanging, rounded clumps with many dead stems from previous seasons. Urticating foliage.
