Rocky and sandy river bed, wide flat benches and slopes of canyon walls down to the river . Area burned fall, 2007. Chaparral slopes with surviving Pinus monophylla, Juniperus californica, Arctostaphylos glauca, Quercus chrysolepis. Post fire bloom of Lupinus bicolor, L. microcarpus, Dichelostemma capitatum, Phacelia distans, P. brachyloba, P. douglasii, Malacothrix clevelandii, Thysanocarpus curvipes, Nama californicum, Allophyllum gilioides, etc.
