Willow series very fine sodic soils (gray clay) in a large shallow depression with vernal pools (currently partially filled with water), cracking mud, alkali playa, alkali grassland, alkali scrub, nonnative grassland, and southern cattail - tule marsh, with mixed willow community along Alberhill Creek at the N extreme of the property, and Coastal Sage Scrub on the higher slopes cut with small sandy arroyos on the property to the S. Plowed fields common on the property, and dumpsite - ruderal communities spotty on the property, especially near Pierce St.
