Mixed coniferous forest, understory dominated by Bromus diandrus. Overstory of Pinus ponderosa & Quercus kellogii. Other associated species: Achnatherum coronatum, Bromus carinatus, B. tectorum, Ceanothus leucodermis, Clarkia ungiculata, Collinsia hetrophylla, Eriogonum wrightii var. subscaposum, Erysimum capitatum, Gayophytum diffusum, Hulsea heterochroma, Leymus tritichoides, Lotus crassifolius, Madia elegans, Melica imperfecta, Pteridium aquilinum.
