Habitat:
Diffuse mixed coniferous forest on slopes. Highly disturbed slopes from tree cutting activities. Associated species: Abies concolor, Blommeria crocea, Bromus tectorum, Calocedrus deccurens, Clarkia rhomboidea, Cryptantha simulans, Dichelostemma capitatum, Elymus elymodes, Gayophytum oligospermum, Lathyrus vestitus, Lotus crassifolius, L. nevadensis, Lupinus formosus, Madia elegans, Penstemon labrosus, Phacelia cicutaria, Pinus ponderosa, Pteridium aquilinum, Quercus chrysolepis, Q. kelloggii, Saltugilia grinellii.
