Largely undisturbed parcel with open grassland dominant but with significant patches of oak woodland, chaparral and coastal sage. There is a dried pond, formed by daming a canyon, on the south side of the parcel. Area becomong developed with scattered large houses and this parcel proposed for subdivision.
Flowering & Fruiting
Annual to 1.5 m tall, in moist canyon below dam; fls. purple. Uncommon and mostly dead in drainages on parcel overall, but locally common in this one spot.
