Oak forest, with Quercus agrifolia dominant, in canyon and chaparral on exposed slopes.
Flowering & Fruiting
Uncommon shrubs to 2 m high, c. plants 20 seen, in deep shade of oaks on dry slopes both above and below the road crossing; fls. deep pink. Long weak stems.
