Oak woodland composed of Quercus agrifolia, Q. chrysolepis, Rhamnus ilicifolia, Toxiodendron diversilobum, Dryopteris arguta, etc. in the drainage bottom with Coastal Sage Scrub on the steep southerly slopes that include Encelia farinosa, Salvia apiana, Eriogonum fasciculatum var. polifolium, Lotus scoparius, Salvia mellifera, Porophyllum gracile, etc. Alluvial substrates with sandy soils in the drainage and granitic substrates with sandy soils on the adjacent slopes; W and S aspects; slopes 0-180%.
