SSE-facing steep, loose, rocky, carbonate slope of 30 deg. Associated w/ Bromus rubens, B. tectorum, Castilleja angustifolia, Phacelia affinis, Eriogonum microthecum corymbosoides, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Coleogyne ramosissima, Oxytheca parishii goodmaniana, Achnatherum parishii, Gilia cana, Cercocarpus ledifolius, Ephedra viridis, Ceanothus greggii vestitus, Galium angustifolium, Juniperus osteosperma, Yucca brevifolia, & Pinus monophylla.
