Alkaline clay with shallow vernal pools; area disturbed, apparently intentionally, and grain planted with no prospect of a crop.
Flowering & Fruiting
Common annual in open areas with few other plants; fls. white. Not frequently seen in wheat, most common on clay near canal, often dominant where it occurs.
