E-W trending ridge with relatively rounded summit and steep flanks. Soil mostly rocky, sandy loam developed over Pelona schist. Summit of ridge with low, open scrub of Eriogonum fasciculatum polifolium, Corethrogyne filaginifolia, Poa secunda, Bromus diandrus, etc. grading into dense scrub of Quercus chrysolepis, Q. wislizenii, etc. on notherly slope and Adenotstoma fasc. chaparral on the southerly slopes.
