Burned Cedar Fire 2003. Utica dioica ssp. holosericea, Mimulus cardinalis, Stachys ajugoides var. rigida, shaded by Quercus agrifolia and Pinus jeffreyi.
In creek bed, a short distance S of an abandoned road and asphalt-paved creek crossing (culvert), growing in moist soil near standing water.
Cespitose, culms lax, ascending to erect. About 12 dm long.
