Chaparral on steep hillsides, recently burned; plants collected from ridge and W-facing slopes. Associates: Leptodactylon californicum, Eriodictyon trichocalyx, Scrophularia californica, Penstemon bicolor, Eriophyllum, Solanum xanti, Phacelia brachyloba, Eriogonum fasciculatum. Rare, only two plants seen, growing in full sun. Purple-blue corollas, prostrate ascending stems, basal rosette of dead leaves, much branched above the base. | Access Database Number (Deprecated): UCD118011
