Serpentine outcrop adjacent to highway dominated by Adenostoma fasciculatum, Eriodictyon californicum, Ceanothus cuneatus, and Pinus sabiniana. Mimulus douglasii occurs in open gravel areas and on gopher mounds among shrubs. Associated species include Eriogonum wrightii, Linanthus bicolor, Lasthenia sp., Orthocarpus sp., and Bromus tectorum.
