The plot mainly contains Ceanothus cuneatus with scattered emergent pines. Ground cover contains diverse grasses and forbs such as Vulpia microstachys, and Castilleja lacera. A fire may have occurred several years ago as evidenced by the scattered, charred fallen pines and the young emergent pines. A rancher also mentioned that a fire occurred in the eastern region of the Red Hills Preserve. | Access Database Number (Deprecated): UCD80619
