Shrub-grassland mosaic with emergent foothill pine. Pinus sabiniana mostly of younger age class, with some fallen trees at edge of plot. Grazing rights known to be allocated in general area but no cattle present nor any evidence of grazing.
Pinus sabiniana. Dominant herbs are Brachypodium distachyon and Trifolium spp. Dominant shrubs are Heteromeles arbutifolia and Ceanothus cuneatus. Litter primarily Pinus sabiniana needles.
