United States, California, Placer, Onion Creek campground. In deep, partially decomposed duff beneath Calocedrus decurrens, in mixed Conifer forest. Perennial herb with long, slender rootstock. Leaves firm, somewhat fleshy. Flowers unopened, greenish white. Leaves with white markings along veins. Full shade. South facing slope. Uncommon.
