United States, California, Napa, Napa County. Just south of the border with McLaughlin Reserve. Along Knoxville-Berryessa Rd, ca. 1.4 road miles south of intersection with dirt road leading to old town of Knoxville, SW side of road, along drainage leading into Knoxville Creek; there is an old homestead uphill from collection site.

Along drainage with running water, near serpentine grassland where Fritillaria pluriflora grows, but uphill there is oak-pine woodland with Pinus sabiniana, Quercus douglasii, and Q. lobata. Near stream are Quercus durata, Trichostema laxa, and Stachys albens. Area burned in the fall of 1999. Herb, to 3 ft. tall, ray flowers yellow, disk flowers brown, growing in dry creek bed near homestead. | Access Database Number (Deprecated): UCD18115
