Chaparral beginning to root sprout after fire, recovery scarcely noticeable except for Eriodictyon & Rhus diversibaba & in favored spots Ceanothus & Quercus. Growing with Pellaea mucronata; Avena barbata; Bromis rubins; Pentstemon brebifloris. Growing in between rock of granite. In full bloom. Plants half to knee high; scattered abundently. Collected in stormy weather at 2:30 PM.
