Upper-lower sonoran:- Larrea, Opuntia acanthocarpa. Sun-dry limestone slopes; N. expos. Shrub; 2 ft. height; spread: 3 t.; 1 in. trunk diam. Common. A widespread species on this side of range. This one of few plants with fruits (bright orange-red)
