Description:
An uncommon 3 m-high shrub with cream corollas growing on a shaded E-facing slope. Associates: Abies concolor, Acer macrophyllum, Angelica callii, Arctostaphylos viscida ssp. mariposa, Calocedrus decurrens, Chamaebatia foliolosa, Dodecatheon hendersonii, Hydrophyllum occidentale, Torreya californica, and Umbellularia californica.
