A large, fairly open canyon. Several hundred individuals growing on open sandy/gravely bench in wash.
Larrea tridentata, Ambrosia dumosa, Krameria, Psorothamnus schottii, Encelia farinosa, Senagalia greggii, Camissonia californica, C. claviformis, Chaenactis fremontii, Cryptantha micrantha, Eriophyllum wallacei, etc.
