Flowers reddish purple, aging blue, banner reddish purple with lighter base, keel whitish with reddish purple tips. Associated species: Malacothrix saxatilis implicata, Senecio douglasii, Phacelia cicutaria, Camissonia californica, Sonchus oleraceus, Muhlenberigia microsperma.
