Rugged rocky limestone canyon with Yucca schidigera, Acacia greggii, Lycium andersonii, Gutierrezia microcephala, Salazaria mexicana, Buddleja utahensis, Agave utahensis var. nevadensis, Coryphantha chlorantha, Hedeoma nana var, californica.
Occasional in sandy/gravely places of canyon floor.
