Small E-running drainage cutting through rocky decomposed granite alluvium. Dense upland scrub of Artemisia tridentata, Purshia tridentata, Eriogonum umbellatum, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Grayia spinosa, Symphoricarpos rotundifolius and occasional Pinus monophylla. More mesic wash areaswith Populus tremuloides, Ribes cereum, Salix geyeriana, Agastache urticifolia, Wyethia mollis, Potentilla glandulosa.
Common in wash from deep roots. Flws white.
