United States, California, Fresno, Shake Camp, 5355', 2 m. N of Shaver Lake on 168 to Big Creek. 1/2 m. down creek from large meadow at 5550' Music Mtns, 6801', 1.33 m. WSW. Big Creek 1.5 m. N at 3400'.
Yellow Pine Forest - Quercus kelloggii rare, Pinus lambertiana freq., Castanopsis and 3 sps. Ceanothus in area. Alnus, Rhododendron, Cornus, Corylus many herbs along creek.
This little blue, node-rooting Veronica quite freq. on sand and mud along crk, mostly veg. in deep shade, flg in sunnier spots.
