Habitat:
Collecting in large rugged granitic outcroppings with springs. Associated with Yucca brevifolia, Coleogyne ramosissima, Sphaeralcea ambigua, Brickellia desertorum, Opuntia basilaris, Xylorhiza tortifolia, Lotus rigidus, Purshia tridentata, Pectocarya setosa, Ericameria cuneata ssp. spathulata, Artemisia ludoviciana, ect.
Description:
Occasional on gravely slopes between boulders and at margin of springs. Some plants up to 8 feet wide.
