Collected along west side of roadside. Within the low, gentle hillsides, with sandy canyons draining southeast toward the road. Growing on hillside.
Sparse Larrea tridentata, Ambrosia dumosa, Psorothamnus sp., Ephedra sp., Hymenoclea salsola, Lepidium fremontii, and Atriplex hymenelytra shrubs. Annuals had Nama demissum, Malacothrix glabrata, Phacelia distans, Eriogonum thomasii, Monoptilon bellioides, Erodium texanum, Eremalche rotundifolia, Guillenia lasiophylla, Chorizanthe rigida, Salvia columbariae, Eschscholzia minutiflora, and many more
