United States, California, Kern, Tejon Ranch. Along the main road in the Cottonwood Creek drainage; about 2.4 air km north of the Liebre Twins.

Habitat:
Mixed conifer/oak forest. Moderate southwest-facing slope with granitic soil. Opening in Quercus lobata forest with sparse shrubs cover and high herbaceous plant diversity. Slope = moderate, Aspect = southwest.
