Small springfed wet meadow on fine pumice alluvium, dominated by Eleocharis, Carex, Juncus. Evidently heavily grazed with many hoof-packed muddy areas. With Achillea millefolium, Veratrum californicum, Mimulus primuloides, Stellaria longipes, Sphenosciadium capitellatum, and closely encroaching dense forest of Pinus contorta and Populus tremuloides.
Occasional on drier banks of meadow. Flws white.
