Locality: United States, California, Fresno, South slope of Big Table Mt., NW corner of Auberry Valley, 1 m.w. rd. to Temperance Flat.

Elevation: 488 meters Verbatim Elevation: 1600ft.

Habitat: Small steep draw. Loose basalt talus on granite substrata exposed by erosion. Soil varies from this on rock cover to deep in moist depressions. Foothill Woodland extends up draw with open grassland on either side. In flat bottom of draw with dense cover of Ceanothus cuneatus. Occurs around base of shrub just inside the barren area caused by birds.

Associated Taxa: Assoc. drying grasses and Brodiaea pulchella
