United States, California, Lake, About 5 miles west of Lower Lake.
Biennial; corolla white with divergent lobes. Dense population appearing after 1950 chaparral burn, in obsidian rubble area. With Phacelia suaveloens; burned chaparral was largely Adenostoma, with Quercus dumosa and Arctostaphylos.
